Admissions Open in Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT)
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced that admissions are open for the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT). The HAT is a standardized test that is used to assess the readiness of students for postgraduate studies in Pakistan. The test is administered in five categories based on academic streams: Engineering & Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics; Management Sciences & Business Education; Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, Psychology (Clinical & Applied) & Law; Agriculture & Veterinary Sciences, Biological & Medical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Education, Media & Mass Communication; and Religious Studies (Madrassa Graduates).
To be eligible for the HAT, students must have already applied online for any MS/MPhil & PhD admission OR HEC scholarship (Hungary, etc.), intend to apply for the scholarship schemes advertised in future, including those by HEC sponsored Pakistani Universities, or are interested in securing admission in MS/MPhil &PhD programmes in public and private universities of Pakistan.
The HAT will be held on January 28, 2024. The last date for online registration is January 28, 2024. The test fee is Rs. 2000/- and can be paid via 1Link 1Bill invoice participating Banks/ATMs/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Easypaisa/JazzCash/Upaisa.
