Nadra Technologies Limited Seeks Chief Legal Officer (Contractual)
Nadra Technologies Limited, a leading provider of technology
and identity management solutions, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief
Legal Officer to join our team on a contractual basis for an initial term of 3
years (extendable).
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement legal strategies to safeguard NADRA's interests and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and assess legal and privacy-related risks, providing proactive guidance and solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations, ensuring NADRA's policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Lead and manage a team of legal and privacy professionals, providing mentorship and fostering their professional growth.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders, representing NADRA in legal matters.
- Conduct training sessions to raise awareness and understanding of legal and privacy issues among staff members.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in legal practice.
- Strong background in corporate and commercial law.
- Proven track record of working with government and regulatory authorities.
- Demonstrated ability to devise and implement successful litigation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of legal issues surrounding digital technologies.
- Qualified as a Barrister and Advocate of the High Court.
Minimum Qualifications:
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree.
- Master's degree in Law (LLM preferred).
Experience Required:
- Experience in a relevant field is strongly preferred.
Terms and Conditions:
- Selected candidate will be hired initially for a 3-year contract period (extendable if required).
