Eligibility Conditions:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized local or international institution (HEC recognized)
- Candidates having Master's degree and / or any other relevant degree will be preferred.
- Candidates having minimum 15 years of experience, out of which 10 in banking. Candidate must have 3 years' experience in a senior role in Remedial Risk and / or Recovery are encouraged to apply.
- Other Skils/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required:
- Superior credit risk assessment skills and judgment including problem recognition, defining and structuring of solutions to complex credit issues and remedial management situations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal documentation associated with credit / market risk.
- Fully conversant with the relevant policy and regulatory guidelines on credit and recovery.
- Strong leadership skills, comprehensive understanding of financial and legal matters.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability in reaching a decision and developing solutions and can contribute to policy discussions.
- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and act decisively in time sensitive situations.
- Ability to clearly and proactively communicate to both internal and external clients.
- Employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, renewable at the discretion of the management.
Outline of Major Duties:
- To be responsible for handling the rehabilitation / restructuring of classified loans and recovery of defaulted NPLs.
- To develop and implement strategic plans for asset recovery, outline the goals, targets and methodologies for maximizing the recovery of distressed or defaulted assets.
- To oversee a team of professional engaged in asset recovery, provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective and efficient performance.
- To conduct thorough risk assessments of distressed assets, analyze potential financial, legal and market risks associated with the recovery process.
- To assess the value of distressed assets and formulate strategies to optimize their recovery potential, which my involve collaborating with appraisers, auditors and other relevant professionals.
- To ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during the asset recovery process, including adherence to relevant laws, policies and procedures.
- To negotiate with defaulting parties or stakeholders to reach settlements and agreements that maximize the recovery value of distressed assets.

- To maintain accurate documentation of all asset recovery activities, preparing comprehensive reports on the progress and outcomes of asset recovery initiatives, and presenting them to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- To develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with the recovery process, including financial, legal and reputational risks.
- To establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking the progress of asset recovery initiatives, monitor the performance of the asset recovery team and make necessary adjustments to ensure the achievement of set goals.
- To identify areas of improvement in the asset recovery process and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.
- To stay updated on industry trends and best practices in asset recovery to ensure the success of team's efforts.
