Training at KINPOE (Karachi) & CHASCENT (Mianwali)
A progressive public sector organization invites applications for a one-year (three-semester) Post Diploma Training Program (PDTP) in Nuclear Power Plant Technology. This program is designed for Associate Engineers with three-year Diplomas (DAE) or graduates with a two-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)/Associate Degree in Science (ADS). Training will be conducted at the Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE) and the CHASNUPP Centre of Nuclear Training (CHASCENT) in Mianwali, starting in September 2025.
Selection will be based on merit, determined through a written test and interview.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
Applicants must be Pakistani citizens or nationals of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).
Qualifications:
Three-Year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in one of the following fields:
Chemical
Electrical
Electronics
Mechanical
Civil
Computer
HVAC
Metallurgy
Instrumentation & Control
Candidates with diplomas in other fields must provide an Equivalence Certificate from the respective Board of Technical Education, stating that their DAE is equivalent to one of the fields mentioned above.
Two-Year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)/Associate Degree in Science (ADS):
Combination of Physics or Chemistry with Math as a compulsory subject.
Recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Academic Requirements:
Minimum 60% marks (First Division) in:
SSC
HSC (Pre-Engineering only, for B.Sc. candidates)
DAE or B.Sc./ADS
Age Limit:
Maximum 25 years as of January 14, 2025 (date of birth on or after January 14, 2000).
Candidates awaiting final year results may also apply, provided they achieve the required First Division and complete their diploma/degree by September 1, 2025.
Financial Support and Facilities
Monthly stipend: Rs. 17,500/-
Free bachelor hostel accommodation for outstation trainees (subject to availability).
Free indoor medical treatment and transport facilities for trainees.
Career Opportunities
Successful trainees may be appointed as Tech-I/SA-I in SPS-4 (Salary: Rs. 31,320-1930-89,220) with an advance increment and admissible allowances. Appointments will be made on a regular basis under the CPF Scheme. Post-training, candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
