 Join Pakistan Army as Captain – 
Direct Short Service Commission

The Pakistan Army is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals to serve as Army Education Officer, Law Officer, Psychologist Officer, and Remount Veterinary and Farms Officer through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC). Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Upto 28 years as of May 01, 2025
• Gender: Male
• Marital Status: Married/Unmarried
• Height: Minimum 5'4" (162.5 cm)
• Weight: As per Body Mass Index

Vacant Positions and Qualifications:

1. Army Education Corps (AEC) – Male
   Qualifications: MA/MSc/BS (4 years) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geography, Political Science, History, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Urdu, or English.
   Age Limit: 28 years as on May 01, 2025

2. Law Officers (Judge Advocate General Branch) – Male
   Qualifications: LLB qualified, practicing member of the Bar with minimum 2 years of experience.
   Age Limit: 28 years as on May 01, 2025

3. Corps of Remount Veterinary and Farms Officer (RV&FC)
   Qualifications: DVM or equivalent degree (Registered with PVMC). MSc (Hons)/MPhil in relevant disciplines will be preferred.
   Age Limit (Civilians): 28 years as on May 01, 2025
   Age Limit (Serving VASs of RV&FC): 21-35 years as on May 01, 2025

4. Psychologist – Male
   Qualifications: M.Sc/BS in Psychology
   Age Limit: 28 years as on May 01, 2025

Prerequisites:

• Minimum 62.5% marks in the annual system or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 in all subjects, except English (for which 50% marks or 2.0 CGPA is required).
• No 3rd Division or Grade D throughout academic career.
• Candidates must have education from HEC-recognized institutions.

Registration Process:

• Online Registration: Visit Join Pakistan Army to register.
• Preliminary Tests: Jan 20, 2025 to Jan 28, 2025.
• Selection Centers: Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Multan, D.I Khan, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Khuzdar, Pano Aqil, and Turbat.

Preliminary Selection Process Includes:

• Academic & Intelligence Tests
• Physical Tests (1.6 Km Run, Push-ups, Sit-ups, Chin-ups)
• Medical Examination
• ISSB & GHQ Selection

Documents Required:

• Original certificates, educational documents, and attested photocopies.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) for government employees.
• Domicile, CNIC, photos, and verified degrees from HEC/PEC/PVMC.

Final Selection: Based on performance, including medical examination at Combined Military Hospitals and training at Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul.
