 Join Pakistan Army as a Doctor (Major/Captain)

Join the Pakistan Army as a Doctor (Major/Captain) through the Short Service Regular Commission in 2025. Both male and female candidates can apply for positions such as General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs), Specialists, and Dental Officers. Age limits vary by position, with a maximum of 28 years for GDMOs and GDDOs and 32 years for Specialists. Applicants must hold MBBS or BDS degrees recognized by PM&DC/PMC, with preferences for higher qualifications like FCPS for Specialists. Registration is open online from December 23, 2024, to January 17, 2025, followed by preliminary tests from January 30 to February 4, 2025. Eligible candidates will undergo further selection, medical examinations, and interviews before final training at PMA Kakul. Applicants must meet specific eligibility, height, weight, and documentation requirements. Upon selection, candidates sign a five-year service bond with the Army. Eligibility & Age Criteria

2. Classified Specialists (Specs):

   • Qualification: MBBS + FCPS or equivalent in specialties (e.g., General Medicine, Gynaecology, Radiology)
   • Age: Up to 32 years

3. Sub-Specialists (Medicine & Allied):

   • Qualification: MBBS + FCPS in Cardiology, Nephrology, etc.
   • Age: Up to 32 years

4. GDDOs (General Duty Dental Officers):

   • Qualification: BDS (PMDC recognized)
   • Age: Up to 28 years

Gender, Marital Status, and Physical Requirements

• Gender: Male/Female (varies by role).
• Marital Status: Married/Unmarried.
• Height: Male (162.5 cm), Female (152.4 cm).
• Weight: As per BMI.

Important Dates

• Registration: Dec 23, 2024 – Jan 17, 2025 (online).
• Preliminary Tests: Jan 30 – Feb 4, 2025.

Selection & Training

1. Preliminary tests (academic, intelligence, personality).
2. Medical examination at AS&RCs.
3. GHQ interview and detailed medical evaluation.
4. 22 weeks of Basic Military Training at PMA Kakul.

Bond

Selected candidates must sign a 5-year service bond after completing training.
