The Pakistan Army is offering an opportunity to join as a Technical Officer through the 37th Technical Cadet Course (TCC) for 2025. The program is open to unmarried male candidates aged 17-21 with a minimum of 60% marks in Matric and 65% in FSc (Pre-Engineering or Computer Science). Candidates must pass an intelligence and academic test, physical tests, and a medical examination at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs). Successful candidates will undergo training in various engineering disciplines, including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Aeronautical Engineering. (Registration is available on both Saturdays and Sundays)

Preliminary Tests:

Mar 17, 2025 – Apr 21, 2025 (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and closed holidays)

Nationality:

Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan. Dual nationality holders must surrender other nationalities upon final selection.

Eligibility Conditions:

Education:

• Intermediate or Equivalent with at least 60% marks.
• FSC (Pre-Engineering) with at least 65% marks (including 20 marks for NCC) or equivalent qualifications.
• A-Level in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with grades A-C.

Candidates with combinations of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Studies or Computer Science are eligible for all engineering programs.

Candidates with a "HOPE Certificate" from their institution (showing 65% marks) can also apply.

Ineligibility Conditions:

• Twice rejected or screened out by ISSB or any Armed Forces Selection Board.
• Discharged or resigned from any Armed Forces Academy or Institution.
• Dismissed or debarred from government service or Armed Forces.
• Medically unfit for service, including Hepatitis B & C.

Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure:

Registration via Internet:

• Visit www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk to register online. After registration, candidates will receive an exam slip within 5-7 working days.

Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs):

• Candidates can also register by visiting the nearest AS&RCs.

Preliminary Tests:

• Intelligence Test: Candidates will undergo an initial intelligence test.

• Academic Test: After passing the intelligence test, candidates will take an academic test based on MCQs in English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Computer Studies (for Computer Science students).

• Physical Tests: Candidates must qualify in the following:

  • 1.6 km Run in 8 minutes
  • Push-ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
  • Sit-ups: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
  • Chin-ups: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
  • Ditch Crossing (4 feet deep and 7.4'' x 7.4'' dimensions)

• Preliminary Medical Test: Initial medical screening will be conducted at AS&RCs.

Further Selection Procedure:

• ISSB Selection: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for ISSB testing.
• Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by ISSB will undergo further medical examination at nearby CMHs.
• Final Selection: The final selection will be made at General Headquarters (GHQ) based on the candidate’s overall performance.

Degree Programme: 4 years

After obtaining the Bachelor of Engineering Degree, cadets will undergo one-year military training at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.

Documents Required:

• Original certificates/mark sheets of Matric/FSc or equivalent, and equivalency certificate (for O/A Level).
• Attested photocopies of domicile, NADRA verification certificate, and CNIC/Form "B" (for candidates under 18).
• 3 passport-sized photographs attested by a Principal/Class-1 Gazetted Officer.
• Original and photocopies of the ISSB “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter (for repeater candidates).

Bond Requirement:

Cadets must sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum of 13 years on an E-Stamp paper worth Rs.100/- duly countersigned by a Magistrate/Notary Public/Oath Commissioner.
