The bank seeks a dedicated Officer - IT Compliance Management (OG-II/OG-I) to strengthen its Information Technology Compliance Division based in Karachi/Islamabad.
Position Details
- Job Title: Officer - IT Compliance Management (OG-II / OG-I)
- Reporting To: Unit Head - IT Compliance Management
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications
- Minimum Graduation/Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.
- Preference will be given to candidates with:
- A Master’s degree in IT or related fields.
- Relevant International Certifications/Training (e.g., CISA).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, IT Audit, IS, or IT Governance.
Skills Required
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills to identify and address audit issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze audit findings, ensure compliance, and propose improvements in internal control structures.
Key Responsibilities

Compliance Management:
- Assist in designing and monitoring quality and compliance procedures.
- Analyze and address audit findings and compliance discrepancies.

Stakeholder Coordination:
- Arrange and conduct meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and follow up on data submissions and compliance issues.

Audit & Reporting:
- Support the preparation of compliance reports for the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
- Ensure timely resolution of audit issues and monitor submission of quarterly SBP compliance reports.

Training & Risk Management:
- Identify departmental training needs and propose solutions.
- Understand regulatory risks and support internal teams in addressing statutory inquiries.

Additional Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of auditor requisitions.
- Support escalations and provide solutions for compliance-related challenges.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
