Job Title: Digital Assurance - Business Technology Analyst (OG-II / OG-I)
Reporting to: Senior IT Specialist
Place of Posting: Karachi / Islamabad
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant certifications such as GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), or Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE).
Experience:
- Minimum 03 years of IT experience, with at least 01 year in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity.
- Banking sector experience is preferred.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Proficiency in forensic tools/software (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Autopsy, Volatility).
- In-depth understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and file systems for forensic investigations.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and digital forensic regulations (e.g., chain of custody, PCI DSS).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex incident investigations.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic analysis of compromised systems to determine the root cause and scope of breaches.
- Collect and preserve digital evidence in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to remediate threats.
- Recover data from compromised or damaged devices, ensuring critical information retrieval.
- Create detailed forensic reports and communicate findings to IT, legal, and executive teams.
- Analyze malware to provide insights into deployment methods and system impact.
- Contribute to training programs to raise awareness of digital forensics best practices.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations like PCI DSS and banking compliance standards.
- Maintain and update forensic tools and software to meet investigation needs.
Employment Type
- Contractual for three years, renewable at the discretion of the management.
