MEPCO is one of the largest electricity distribution companies in the public sector, serving over 8.3 million consumers with a workforce of 15,000+ employees. Its operational area spans 13 districts of Southern Punjab, with a charter to provide reliable and safe electric power supply to its consumers.
MEPCO seeks dynamic and high-caliber professionals for the following positions on a lump-sum pay package (non-pensionable) for a one-year contract, extendable upon satisfactory performance.

Serial No. 1: Junior Engineer / SDOs
- Total Posts: 59
- Age: 21-28 years (plus 5 years general age relaxation as per Govt. policy).
- Qualification:BE (Electrical/Electronic) / B.Sc. (Electrical/Electronic) / BS (Electrical/Electronic) Engineering (1st Division with at least 60% marks) from an HEC-recognized university. Registration with PEC is mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Instructions & General Conditions
- MEPCO Region includes districts: Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Muzafargarh, Layyah, Bahawalpur, R.Y. Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan.
- Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Castes, Buddhists, FATA/GB, and AJK: 3 years.
- Government servants with 2+ years of service: 10 years.
- Contract quota (Sr. No. 3 & 4): 10 years.
- Candidates from all over Pakistan can apply for Sr. No. 1 & 2.
- Only candidates with domiciles in MEPCO Region can apply for Sr. No. 3 & 4.
- Employee's Children Quota applies only to MEPCO employees.
- Candidates must provide relevant documents for quotas (e.g., Minority Certificate).
- Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
- Recruitment is on a lump-sum pay package, extendable upon satisfactory performance.
- No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.
How to Apply

- Upload scanned copies of academic certificates, CNIC, domicile, PEC registration, and paid challan.
- Submit hard copies of attested documents to:Assistant Registrar, HR-E, Room No. 103, Abbasia Campus, The Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB).
- Test fee:
- Rs. 1000/- for officers (Sr. No. 1 & 2).
- Rs. 750/- for officials (Sr. No. 3 & 4).
- Roll Number Slips will be uploaded on the IUB website and candidates will be notified via SMS.
