Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years course) from the Punjab Board of Technical Education or equivalent.

Age Limit:

• Male: 18 to 25 + 5 = 30 years
• Female: 18 to 25 + 8 = 33 years

Documents Required:

1. Valid CNIC (must not be expired on the last day of applying online).
2. Matriculation/O-Level certificate showing date of birth and obtained/total marks.
3. Diploma in Civil Engineering, including Detailed Marks Certificate or percentage certificate issued by the Controller of Examination.
4. Domicile Certificate issued on or before the closing date or proof of domicile application.
5. Departmental Permission Certificate for government employees.
6. Disability Certificate (for Special Persons) issued by the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons.

Job Description for Sub Engineer (Civil) (BS-14):

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Execution of construction and maintenance works for government buildings, roads, bridges, etc., in the Sub Division.
2. Measurement of work done and payment to contractors.
3. Maintenance of various accounts for the Sub Division.
4. Compilation of accounts for submission to the Executive Engineer.
5. Control of departmental labor.
6. Assist the XEN in designing and preparation of cost estimates.
7. Preparation of site plans.
8. Assessment of cost/rent of various buildings.
9. Assist other departments with technical matters.
10. Management and control of government lands to prevent encroachments.
11. Representation in litigation and court cases.
