The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced 200 vacancies for the positions of Dental Surgeon, Demonstrator, and Registrar (BPS-17) in the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. The posts are open under various quotas, including open merit, special persons, women, and minority quotas. Applicants must have a BDS degree, be registered with PMDC, and have completed a one-year house job. Candidates must also pass a written test and interview. - Male: 21 to 35 years (plus 5 years relaxation = 40 years)
- Female: 21 to 35 years (plus 8 years relaxation = 43 years)
- Transgender: Age as per CNIC
- Gender: Male, Female, and Transgender eligible
- Domicile: All Punjab
- Place of Posting: Various Universities/Medical Colleges and Hospitals in Punjab
Written Test & Interview:
- Written Exam: MCQ type, 100 marks, 90-minute duration
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer
- Candidates must secure at least 40% marks to qualify for the interview
Important Notes:
- Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification will be considered
- Valid Permanent Registration Certificate from PMC/PMDC is required
- Candidates who have applied for PMDC/PMC registration on or before the closing date will be considered eligible
